    • Description

Bond It FS4 Fireshield AC is a high-performance intumescent acrylic fire sealant, designed to maintain the fire integrity of walls, floors and service penetrations in domestic, commercial and industrial buildings. When exposed to heat, FS4 expands to form a hard, charred barrier that slows the spread of fire, smoke and toxic gases — providing vital additional time for evacuation and protection of the structure.

This professional-grade sealant is ideal for fire-stopping gaps, linear joints, pipe and cable penetrations, small voids, partition walls, and anywhere fire resistance is required. It adheres strongly to most common building materials including concrete, masonry, timber, plasterboard, metals and PVC, making it highly versatile on site.

Suitable for use in both new build and refurbishment projects, Bond It FS4 is easy to apply, quick to tool, and overpaintable once cured.

      4. Tool the sealant within 5–10 minutes to ensure full joint contact.
      5. Allow to fully dry before overpainting or subjecting to fire performance.
      6. For larger depths, use a suitable fire-rated backing material.
