    • How to Apply

Prepare the surface: Ensure all areas are clean, dry and free from dust, grease, or old sealant. Clean with a suitable solvent if needed.

      1. Mask edges: For neat, crisp joints, apply masking tape along the edges of the area to be sealed.
      2. Cut and load: Cut the cartridge nozzle at a 45° angle to suit the joint width. Place the cartridge into a standard sealant gun.
      3. Apply the sealant: Steadily extrude the silicone into the joint, ensuring consistent pressure and full contact along the entire length.
      4. Tool the joint: Smooth the sealant immediately using a tooling tool or a gloved, wetted finger for a professional finish.
      5. Allow to cure: Skin time is typically 10–20 minutes, depending on temperature and humidity. Full cure usually occurs within 24 hours.
      6. Remove masking tape: Before the sealant skins over, carefully remove masking tape from the joint.
